Tim Iroegbunam won't be joining Hull City from Everton for now.
While the Tigers had agreed a deal for the English midfielder with the Toffees, they have pulled the plug on it due to concerns around his fitness.
The 23-year-old was taken off at around the 20th-minute mark during the Blues' 3-1 friendly defeat against Stuttgart on 8 August.
Iroegbunam looks set to stay at Hill Dickinson Stadium for now and his injury issue will surely be addressed.
The arrivals of Christian Norgaard and Hayden Hackney mean that David Moyes may have no need for the former Aston Villa ace in L3.
For now, the midfielder's situation is worth keeping an eye on, as he may eventually make a move.

Hull are concerned about Iroegbunam's hamstring injury and eventually pulled the plug on it despite willing to pay between £15million to £20m for him.
The Tigers believe the Englishman has suffered a long-term injury and he's now expected to remain at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
However, according to the Liverpool Echo on 14 August, sources close to the midfielder indicate that he will be available "within weeks".
There have also been discussions around potential workarounds, but for now, the newly promoted Premier League team won't be buying Iroegbunam.
If the ex-Villa player does end up staying in Merseyside, he could possibly be available sooner rather than later.
