Franck Kessie offered to Inter Milan amid Everton interest

AC Milan star Franck Kessie has reportedly been offered to Inter Milan and Everton must hurry up if they want to sign him.

According to reports from Tuttomercato, Kessie’s agent has offered the midfielder to Inter, but his demands are too high.

AC Milan are struggling to reach an agreement with the Ivorian over a contract extension, and it looks like an exit from San Siro is on the cards.

The 24-year-old combative midfielder arrived at Milan in 2017, initially on loan, and later made the move permanent in 2019.

He has been a key player for the Rossoneri but it looks like his time at San Siro is coming to an end, with his contract set to expire in June 2022.

The player’s agent, George Atangana, has made contact with Inter asking whether they would be interested in taking him. The Serie A champions are unlikely to meet his financial demands.

Boost for Everton?

Last month, it was reported by 90min that Everton have contacted the representatives of Kessie about a potential move.

The likes of Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and Leicester City are all reportedly keen to sign him, while Kessie has admirers from Spain and Germany as well.

The news will come as a big boost for Everton who have already contacted Kessie’s agent asking him to be kept informed about his development.

Without Champions League football to offer, it will be a really tough ask for Everton to bring him to Goodison Park, but anything can happen in the transfer market if they play their card perfectly.

Kessie would be a huge statement signing for the club, and they should look to get him as early as January.

In other Everton news, the Blues want to sign this Europa League attacker with a ‘Very low’ exit fee.
