Crystal Palace vs Everton preview: Team news, likely lineups and score prediction
Crystal Palace and Everton are looking to end the season on a high, as they lock horns with three Premier League rounds to go.
The visitors are looking for a big result on Sunday, with European football still very much a possibility for the travelling Toffees.
David Moyes’ side sit 10th in the standings, two points away from a Conference League spot, though they need to recover after a run of four matches without a win.
Palace are fresh from action in the place that Everton want to be, having secured their spot in the Conference League final through a two-legged win against Shakhtar Donetsk.
Looking ahead to Sunday’s clash at Selhurst Park, Goodison News takes a look at all of the key details.

Form guide
Oliver Glasner’s Eagles head into the weekend in the midst of a strange run of form, having won just once in the league since March.
Though, Palace have remained distracted by their European commitments throughout this run, with this the ultimate focus with their Premier League survival never in any real doubt.
Everton meanwhile, are winless in four, with draws against Brentford and Manchester City sandwiching losses against Liverpool and West Ham.

Head-to-head
Since Palace’s most recent promotion to the Premier League in 2013, Sunday’s fixture has remained a mainstay of the calendar.
| Stat | Crystal Palace | Everton |
| Wins | 6 | 17 |
| Draws | 10 | 10 |
| Goals scored | 33 | 54 |
In the history of Sunday’s bout in the top flight, the Toffees have had the historical advantage, with Crystal Palace winning just six times.
Alongside this, Everton boast a fantastic record at Selhurst Park, with their only defeat this century coming in the 2021-22 term, while you have to go back to 1994 to find the only other defeat suffered at the home of the Eagles.
Team news and predicted lineup
Against Manchester City, Merlin Rohl operated in an unfamiliar role on the right and performed admirably despite his limited minutes under Moyes this term.
With that in mind, though, the Scotsman may turn to a more natural winger here, with Rohl’s physical profile less necessary against a side carrying far less threat than City.
Dwight McNeil’s struggles have dragged on for months, so Tyrique George could finally get his chance on the flank as Moyes goes back to basics in only his second league start.
That would be Everton’s only change heading into Sunday, although there are still a few calls that could go either way.
After a disappointing debut campaign on Merseyside, Thierno Barry scored twice on Monday to push himself into contention for Sunday.
Even so, knowing Moyes, Beto may still lead the line from the start after doing so for much of the campaign during Barry’s struggles.

For Glasner and Palace, they remain without Eddie Nketiah, who is sidelined until the summer with a thigh injury.
Alongside this, Borna Sosa and Aston Villa loanee Guessand will both be assessed, after both have spent periods out of action.
Crystal Palace predicted XI: Henderson; Canvot, Lacroix, Richards; Munoz, Kamada, Wharton, Mitchell; Sarr, Strand Larsen, Pino
Everton predicted XI: Pickford; O’Brien, Tarkowski, Keane, Mykolenko; Garner, Iroegbunam; George, Dewsbury-Hall, Ndiaye; Beto
Crystal Palace man to watch: Adam Wharton
Ever so consistent since his arrival from Blackburn in 2024, Adam Wharton has been fantastic in the middle of the park for Crystal Palace.
Alongside Everton man James Garner, Wharton is one of those pushing for a spot in the coming England squad ahead of the World Cup, and he will be the man the Eagles look for when in possession once again.
With five assists to his name this term, the young controller will have to be marshalled adequately by those in the Toffees midfield if Moyes’ side are to get anything this weekend.
We say: Crystal Palace 0-2 Everton
Keeping their European hopes alive, Everton could well just put in a statement performance this weekend.
Throughout the campaign, Palace have struggled to balance the league and Europe, and the Toffees could take advantage of this on Sunday, particularly with performances often being far better away from home for the Blues.
Taking the continental race to the final rounds, the travelling fans could be in for a good day out in South London.
