Everton in Will Osula pursuit as Newcastle United accept they face a problem
Everton have reportedly made checks on Newcastle United forward Will Osula ahead of the summer transfer window.
Osula has been on fire of late, having scored three goals in his four Premier League appearances for the Magpies.
The 22-year-old is finally starting to find his feet at St James’ Park, nearly two years on from joining in a deal worth up to £15million from Sheffield United.
Newcastle almost sold Osula to Eintracht Frankfurt for £30million last summer, but he instead remained in the North-East.
A new update has now emerged on Osula’s future, with Everton seemingly among the clubs interested in a deal.

Newcastle United have clear stance on Will Osula exit
Osula played just four minutes in Everton’s fixtures with Newcastle this season, so David Moyes would not exactly have been able to see the attacker up close.
But the Denmark Under-21 international has done enough in the past month or so for plenty of suitors to sit up and take notice.

According to Newcastle expert Craig Hope for the Daily Mail, Everton, Crystal Palace, Bayern Munich and Bayer Leverkusen have all checked on Osula’s situation.
Osula is now valued in the region of around £40m, but the same report indicates that Newcastle have no intention of selling.
It is reported that if United do cash in on Osula, they accept they will then be left with a problem in terms of finding a replacement.
A source is quoted by the publication as saying: “We’d be looking to replace Will Osula with Will Osula!

“Staff have also been impressed by his recent impact and believe there is more improvement to come.”
Osula exit twist could yet emerge amid Everton interest
Everton have been linked with Gabriel Sara among others of late, but Osula’s name is a new one in the gossip columns.
While any deal seems unlikely based on the above update, the same report does go on to add that an issue could yet emerge on Newcastle’s end.
There is said to be an expectation among Osula’s representatives that he is rewarded with an improved deal should any interested clubs step forward with big-money contracts.
Given Osula still has three years to run on his current deal, however, Newcastle are under no pressure to do so.
This may well be one to watch, then, but based on his current trajectory, Newcastle will seemingly do all they can to keep hold of Osula.
