Newcastle United wait for £60m Will Osula offer as Everton want transfer now
Newcastle United forward Will Osula remains of interest to Everton.
The Denmark international has been linked with a move to Hill Dickinson Stadium in the past, but ultimately remained with the Magpies.
Things certainly haven’t been ideal under Eddie Howe, with various problems having a detrimental effect on their Premier League campaign.
With Alexander Isak leaving for Liverpool, the north-east outfit has struggled to find a true goalscorer to replicate the Swede’s output.
The 22-year-old has recently stepped up at St James’ Park, leaving Everton still interested in Osula heading into the summer.

Newcastle United rate Will Osula at over £60m
The former Sheffield United youngster wasn’t viewed as a regular in black and white last season, or even earlier this year.
That has certainly changed in recent weeks, where over 70 per cent of his Premier League goals for the campaign have come from.
| Stat (Premier League 25/26) | Will Osula |
| Appearances | 23 |
| Starts | 7 |
| Minutes played | 745 |
| Goals | 7 |
| Assists | 0 |
He has only scored seven all year, but with five of those coming since mid-April, it’s fair to say his hit a rich vein of form.
That has only increased his potential transfer value at Newcastle, with the i Paper reporting on Monday that a fee closer to £60million would be required to even get the Magpies round the table for talks.
Eintracht Frankfurt proposed £30m last year, and it has been suggested that nearly double would be needed for the player who “suddenly looks like a top-level striker”.
The Toffees are long-term admirers of the Dane alongside Aston Villa, with suitors also emerging from abroad.
Everton could be a landing destination for Osula in the summer, but it all hinges on what sort of offer Howe and Co. would accept.
Would Osula be worth a record fee for Everton?
The Blues haven’t broken their transfer record since the summer of 2017 when Gylfi Sigurdsson came in from Swansea City for around £45m.
Tyler Dibling came in for slightly less than that in the most recent summer window, coming in at a fee higher than both Amadou Onana and Richarlison.
A deal for Osula would likely sit above all of those at a fee in the region of £60m, but that would be more indicative of the current transfer market rather than Everton themselves.
He has scored only eight Premier League goals, but is at an early stage of his career at the top level and is undoubtedly a raw talent.
Whether it would make sense to have him and Theirno Barry in the same squad is one question, but he would be a useful addition, but probably not for such a sizable fee.
