Gabriel Sara open to Everton transfer as £30m deal looks more likely
Gabriel Sara could make the switch to Everton from Galatasaray in the upcoming transfer window.
According to Sabah, as relayed by Aspor on 20 May, the likelihood of the Brazil international’s departure from the Ali Sami Yen Sports Complex is increasing.
The news outlet reports that the Toffees are still interested in signing the 26-year-old in the summer, with the midfielder valued at around £30million.
It has been claimed that Sara hasn’t completely ruled out a possible switch to Hill Dickinson Stadium in the coming months, with the Super Lig outfit prepared to evaluate offers for him.
If The Friedkin Group have faith in David Moyes, they must prove it by investing in the Scottish manager’s squad.

Gabriel Sara season in numbers amid Everton interest
Sara’s strengths lie in his quality on the ball and ability to create opportunities for his teammates.
In the current campaign, the midfielder has made 27 league appearances as Galatasaray won the championship, scoring five goals, providing four assists, and creating nine big chances, as per Sofascore.
The Brazilian ace averaged 2.1 key passes per game, recording a passing accuracy of 87 per cent.
| Statistics | Gabriel Sara |
| Appearances | 27 |
| Goals | 5 |
| Assists | 4 |
| Big chances created | 9 |
| Accurate passes per game | 33.1 (87%) |
| Key passes per game | 2.1 |
| Successful dribbles per game | 0.6 (45%) |
Sara won possession in the final third 0.5 times per game and completed 45 per cent of his dribbles.
Moyes has the likes of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Charly Alcaraz at his disposal for the number 10 position, with Merlin Rohl also emerging in recent weeks, and it remains to be seen whether the Merseyside outfit will make a move for the Galatasaray midfielder.
David Moyes questions arise after Premier League disappointment
Everton fans are beginning to wonder whether Moyes is the right person to lead them into the 2026-27 campaign after their recent run of results.
The Toffees have arguably bottled European qualification and the Scottish manager is receiving the majority of the blame from supporters.

While Moyes has to take responsibility, TFG haven’t really helped him enough with their reluctance to spend in the last two transfer windows.
The 63-year-old head coach has had to cope with a lack of quality in depth at the Blues and the likes of Sara can offer him some valuable options in L3.
