Alan Brazil slams Everton takeover news he's heard - 'bang out of order'
Alan Brazil has been tracking Everton's current ownership situation.
The Friedkin Group announced last week that they are actively looking to sell the Toffees, despite only purchasing the club in December of 2024.
The Houston-based company was initially going to announce plans to try to find minor investors, though some reports suggest they were unable to do so and have turned their attention to a full sale.
Dan Friedkin's group own around 94 per cent of the Blues after making a move less than two years ago, but some Evertonians saw this coming from a mile off.
David Moyes has revealed his surprise at the situation, suggesting that things have become clearer to him after the summer transfer window.
With TFG looking for potential buyers, plenty of rumours are circulating online, as Brazil shares what he's recently heard about a possible takeover at Everton.

The Friedkin Group are reportedly hoping for £1billion to sell, which would double their original investment in the club.
The likes of Amanda Staveley and other American investors have been mooted as potential candidates to take over in L3.
Further uncertainty has been shifted onto David Moyes, whose contract expires at the end of the season.
While speaking on talkSPORT this Wednesday, Brazil discussed the situation with Ally McCoist, as the former revealed behind-the-scenes information that he's heard at Everton.
Brazil said: "I've just got in front of me The Sun, 'Man Shifty PM's two freebie dinners with Man City Sun probe finds deleted records', and I've got a cracker for you as well.
McCoist replied: "I thought Andy [Burnham] was an Everton man?"
Brazil responded: "He is an Everton man, and that is going to get him in trouble as well, from what I'm going to tell you.
"It's only hearsay, but let's just say someone in government, I'm told, is trying to get a release of a sanction on certain people, Russians and different parts of Europe.
"Well, one sanction in this country, who was involved in football before, by all accounts, is trying to get the sanction lifted, so that they can come back and take over at Everton. I hope it's not true because it's bang out of order; this is serious."
Brazil later named the figure he was referring to as Russian-Uzbek Alisher Usmanov, a former Arsenal shareholder and business partner of Farhad Moshiri.
It's been said elsewhere that Moyes' contract situation could look attractive to potential buyers, especially if they were keen to come in and appoint their own choice of manager.
Everton currently sit fifth in the Premier League, and it's an important season for them not to get carried away with off-the-field antics.
But will they be able to remain focused?
Will Everton sale news affect David Moyes and Co.?
Well, time will tell, but Moyes is an experienced head, and it will not faze him for the time being.
The biggest tell, though, will be around January, because that's when the Toffees may need some extra additions to help them over the line.
The aim is for the Blues to qualify for Europe, which would make Hill Dickinson an even more attractive prospect for any potential investors, but there are no guarantees that TFG will back Moyes in the meantime.
Angus Kinnear and Co. may have their work cut out for them, as it would be a surprise if the American owners were to spend heavily in January.
That's if they haven't sold the club by then, but these things take time.
