Every potential Everton buyer rated out of 10 - 9/10 hands-on choice would lead Blues to glory
Everton could soon have new owners after the Friedkin Group confirmed their intentions to sell the club.
The Houston-based company were initially searching for additional minor investors, but after reportedly failing to acquire any, they are open to a full sale of the Toffees.
Dan Friedkin's consortium purchased the club in 2024 via its UK investment company Roundhouse Capital.
They own 94 per cent of Everton and have admitted that they will only sell to a buyer whom they feel would be fit for purpose in L3.
David Moyes has since admitted that things make sense for him after the summer transfer window, which was a heavily controversial talking point for supporters.
However, could Everton fans finally get the owners they've been dreaming of with TFG on the hunt for potential buyers?
Kevin Malone - 6/10
Kevin Malone was previously interested in buying Everton in 2024, and was keen on battling TFG and 777 Sports to buy the club from Farhad Moshiri.
The former LA Dodgers general manager's consortium made an offer prior to the Friedkins reaching an agreement with Moshiri.
The offer came with the intention of committing to pay around £78million per year in football operation fees.
Everton's debts at the time stopped Malone from making another offer after TFG reached an agreement with Moshiri, but the Blues are now in a better state than they were over two years ago.
TFG reportedly want a near £800m for the club, which includes debts of around £380m, so if Malone were to make an offer, it would show that he wants to make Everton great again.
Michael Dell - 4/10
Like Malone, Michael Dell was interested in supporting the purchase of Everton in 2024, and could once again come knocking.
The American billionaire was behind a £350m attempt to buy the club, led by Andy Bell and George Downing.
Despite his mega net worth, there would be serious questions over his commitment to run the club if he made a move again.
There was no proof that he wanted to be a hands-on owner last time round, as he's only ever lent money to English clubs in the past. TFG would be wise to look at other candidates if Dell made an approach.
Alisher Usmanov - 3/10
Alisher Usmanov, former associate of Moshiri, has been linked with potentially getting involved with the Toffees once again.
It has been estimated that the Russian-Uzbek businessman injected over £110m into the Toffees over a five-year period.
Everton need approximately £450m in further owner equity until the end of the 2030-31 season, so this would immediately question whether he would have the money and determination to run the club.
Any association with Moshiri doesn't exactly bode well either.
Amanda Staveley - 9/10
Amanda Staveley has been one of the names linked with buying Everton since TFG made their sale announcement.
As a hands-on owner, she would be the best candidate to run Everton, given her success at Newcastle United after being part of the club's takeover in 2021.
Her involvement helped the Magpies reach the Champions League, which ultimately had knock-on effects, multiplying their revenue in several ways.
The same could happen at Everton with Staveley's experience.
She is our pick to potentially bring glory to Hill Dickinson with a 9/10 rating.
