Everton news round-up: Jack Grealish set for fine as David Moyes’ attitude is slammed
Everton have faced heavy criticism for their defeat to Wolves on Tuesday.
The Toffees had a chance to progress into the fourth round of the Carabao Cup. However, a goal in each half condemned the Merseyside club to a 2-0 defeat.
As a result, Everton fans are far from happy with David Moyes or many of the players, as it was a competition the Toffees could have potentially gone far in.

Jack Grealish faces fine after post-Liverpool scenes
Before their match against Wolves, Everton fell to a defeat against Liverpool in the Merseyside defeat.
While the Toffees were unable to prevent the 2-1 loss, there were plenty of controversial decisions that contributed to the defeat.
One came in the second half when Darren England gave Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall a yellow card for taking a free kick too quickly.

After the match, the Manchester City loanee questioned this decision, with Dan Plumley now insisting that Grealish could face a fine for his post-Liverpool comments.
He said: “Yeah, I would say that is highly likely, you just can‘t do it these days, can you?
“You understand the player’s frustration, but in this day and age, to me, that looks like a guaranteed fine.
“They are just not going to let players do that.”

Onto Tuesday’s defeat, and there were more controversial decisions.
The main one came from Moyes himself, and his decision to make seven changes to his starting XI from the Liverpool defeat.
This gamble ultimately didn’t pay off, as Everton were once again knocked out in the third round of the competition.
Now, former Toffee Michael Ball has slammed Moyes and Everton for their attitude towards the competition.

He said: “Attitude way off it from the start tonight from players and the team selection.

Unfortunately, for many Everton fans, going out in the Carabao Cup early on has become the norm.
The Toffees have never won the competition before despite their long and proud history.
However, in recent years, the Toffees have struggled to even make it to the latter stages of the competition.
In the aftermath of the Wolves defeat, Jim White confirmed that Everton have been knocked out of the third round of the Carabao Cup 10 times in the last 15 years.
He stated: “In the last 15 years, 10 third-round exits… It is a decade-long pattern here.
“Buck the trend, field your toughest team, go out and win it."
