Everton return to action when they face off against Hull City at the MKM Stadium on Sunday.

The Toffees have had a strong start to the season and will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to eight for the campaign.

The Blues went into the international break on a high after Thierno Barry scored the only goal in a 1-0 win over Ipswich Town at Hill Dickinson.

David Moyes watched several stars head off for international duty over the break, with differing national reports on individuals

He will be hoping that the time off hasn't affected his side too much, as Hull will be looking to improve on the already impressive eight points they've gained from their first five Premier League matches of the season.

But Moyes has some key decisions to make for Everton, as Goodison News takes a look at what the lineup could look like against Hull this weekend.

David Moyes to be forced into Jake O'Brien call

Moyes knows that these types of games are crucial for Everton to win if they are to qualify for Europe at the end of the season.

That said, Jordan Pickford is obviously expected to keep his place in goal after impressing on international duty with England.

The two centre-backs in front of him are highly likely to remain the same as what Evertonians saw against Ipswich, with Jarrad Branthwaite and James Tarkowski.

However, the full-back positions are where things get complicated.

Vitalii Mykolenko suffered an injury while away with Ukraine and is currently a big doubt for the game.

The Toffees rarely line up without the 27-year-old, who has made 166 appearances for the club.

But Everton have no natural left-back replacement, so Ainsley Maitland-Niles is likely to be shifted over to cover, while Jake O'Brien could come in at right-back, with Merlin Rohl still not match fit.

James Garner and Harrison Armstrong enjoyed time away with England over the break, and the pair are expected to keep their places in midfield.

But the defence may not be the only area to see change.

Brennan Johnson to be dropped vs Hull

Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has started in all five of Everton's league matches so far, and is highly likely to keep his spot in attacking midfield this weekend.

Jack Grealish has started in each of the Toffees' last two matches, likely using the break to his advantage and get even more up to speed.

While the 31-year-old is expected to start at left wing, a change could come on the other flank.

Brennan Johnson has yet to impress since arriving in L3, as he also failed to make an impact while on international duty with Wales.

On the other hand, Tyrique George has looked brilliant since joining the Blues permanently this summer, and could replace him on the right-hand side of attack.

Up top, Barry is expected to start with no other natural striker to cover for him, with the Frenchman already on five goals for the season.
