In an alternate universe Harrison Armstrong may not have started this season at Everton.

During the summer transfer window, it was reported the Toffees had accepted a £40million package from Nottingham Forest for the talented teenager.

That sparked a furious reaction from the Everton fanbase, and ultimately the Blue opted to pull the plug on Armstrong's sale.

Since then, the 19-year-old has been a regular for Everton - starting all five Premier League games and amassing 446 minutes in the top flight.

It has coincided with an unbeaten start to the domestic campaign for David Moyes side, who are seventh in the still infant table.

Consequently, Armstrong features among three players Goodison News has highlighed whose stock has already risen this season.

Everton supporters showed the strength of supporter power when it came to Armstrong.

The reaction to news that one of their own was about to be sold to a Premier League rival sparked outrage.

And Armstrong has repaid that support with some top-drawer performances for Everton.

Tyrique George was a popular player for Everton when he joined on loan from Chelsea in January.

However, by the end of the campaign he had failed to score or assist, despite some promising performances.

He has started four of Everton's five league matches, scoring once in the 2-2 draw with Manchester United.

George has great potential and the challenge for him now is to produce goals and assists on a regular basis.

Tyler Dibling

Tyler Dibling endured a miserable first campaign at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Signed for £40million from Southampton, Dibling struggled to settle initially and his form suffered.

The 20-year-old remains very much a work-in-progress, but he did have a very strong pre-season.

And, just before the international break, he was Everton's best player in the 1-0 Carabao Cup win over Wolverhampton Wanderers - teeing up Charly Alcaraz for the winner.

He also had a very decent cameo off the bench against Ipswich Town, and there is now genuine belief that Dibling can start being a big contributor to David Moyes' side.
