Everton could soon call on academy talents to help their first-team.

The Toffees have long had a tradition for bringing youth stars to apply their trade in the Premier League.

There is a long list of star names who have gone on to have excellent careers at the top level.

Wayne Rooney is the key example of exactly that, but he is far from alone.

The Blues will be keen to find the next ace who can take up the mantle at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

The answer may already be infront of David Moyes after the latest insight on Merseyside.

Who is Everton talent Jonathan Nsangou?

There is always a keen eye on the latest starlets making their way at Finch Farm.

This season is no different with such a thin squad available after a poor transfer window.

Everyone is keeping tabs on the academy as first-team chances could become more frequent.

That coincides with The Guardian revealing their yearly "20 best talents at Premier League clubs".

Everton have had 2010-born forward Jonathan Nsangou named after catching the eye at club and international level.

The newspaper took to their online edition, writing: "The gifted forward has been making a strong impression with different countries as well as different age groups, having represented Poland and England before his 16th birthday.

"Nsangou played for Poland, the country of his birth, at Under-15s level and switched to England Under-16s last year. Domestically, he made his debut for Everton Under-21s as a 15-year-old – the first player born in 2010 to do so – and has also trained with the first team on occasions.

"Comfortable in a number of attacking roles, two-footed and possessing excellent technique – as evidenced by his outstanding brace against Wolves recently – he has shone for the Under-18s this season with four goals in four games."

To have already featured for Poland and England at 15 is superb and is certainly catching the eye.

The question will now be of his pathway into the first team.

Can Nsangou become a first-team star at Everton?

There are always going to be concerns that such a massive talent could eventually fall by the wayside.

Everton have to make sure that doesn't happen to Nsangou.

They already know how to make the most out of a starring young talent and have worked closely to get the most out of Harrison Armstrong.

Loan moves were utilised to get the best out of him as spells at Derby County and Preston North End allowed him to cut his teeth as a senior footballer.

A similar route could be utilised for the 16-year-old as he would need to get minutes under his belt before being thrown in by Moyes.

If the Blues can get that right, there's no reason why Nsangou can't go on to be a star on Merseyside.

Everton and Moyes are in desperate need of forward options, so it could be this attacker who becomes the answer to the prayers in L3.
