Jack Grealish's return to Everton was a rare win for the Toffees on deadline day.

The England winger agreed a second loan from Manchester City, with Everton reportedly covering 90 per cent of his wages.

Everton endured a miserable end to the window, which saw their squad left with just one senior striker and no senior full-back back ups.

Moreover, Iliman Ndiaye was sold to Manchester City for a few many consider to be below his value in an inflated market.

But Grealish coming back for a second spell did at least bring some respite to a disillusioned Toffees fanbase.

And former Everton goalkeeper Asmir Begovic has spoken about how he thinks Grealish can flourish for the Toffees.

How can Jack Grealish impress for Everton again?

It was cruel that Grealish's first spell at the Hill Dickinson Stadium was cut short by injury in February.

Grealish scored twice and provided six assists in 20 Premier League appearances before his campaign was cut short.

Everton consequently opted not to pay a £50million option fee, but they did manage to find an agreement on a return to Merseyside.

Begovic, in quotes reported by the Liverpool Echo, thinks Grealish might find it harder to impress the second time around.

But he thinks Grealish can feed off the emotional energy of playing in front of an "incredible" Everton fan base.

“Jack Grealish is a really great signing," Begovic said. "He had a massive impact during the first half of last season and the Everton fans certainly fell in love with him, so it was fitting for him to come back for another season.

“It won't be easy, as it is often more difficult the second time around, but Everton is such a passionate club with an incredible fan base. Jack Grealish really feeds off that emotion and the feeling of support from everyone around him, which will hopefully give him the chance to play his best football.

“It was a piece of business they needed to do, especially after losing Iliman Ndiaye to Manchester City. They really needed him back to unearth that attacking play and open things up for the rest of the team.”

Can Jack Grealish impress for Everton?

There is always a fear when a player sustains a bad injury when they have turned 30.

But Grealish is at his best when he feels love, and at Everton he really felt the love from supporters.

With Ndiaye now having moved onto pastures new, there will be an onus on Grealish to provide the mercurial attacking outlet.

You get the sense that Grealish might really enjoy that pressure, and look to be an example for the younger attackers like Tyrique George and Tyler Dibling.

There is still plent left for Grealish to give, and hopefully Everton can see the best out of the former Aston Villa man.
