Everton ace Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall has spoken of his admiration for one emerging Liverpool talent.

The midfielder has been on Merseyside for over a year now, and knows what rivalry means to the Toffees.

He arrived at Hill Dickinson in August last year, joining the Blues on a permanent deal from Chelsea worth £28million after add-ons.

Dewsbury-Hall has quickly become a fan favourite at Hill Dickinson, scoring and assisting a combined 14 goals last season under David Moyes.

He's started in all five of the Toffees' opening Premier League games of the season, playing a total of 448 minutes so far.

Though Dewsbury-Hall plays with some talented young players at Everton, there is one Liverpool player that he admires.

Dewsbury-Hall is arguably one of the first names on the teamsheet for Moyes, and is not at any real threat of losing his place anytime soon.

The 27-year-old got his first taste of the Merseyside Derby in September last year, as the Blues lost 2-1 at Anfield.

He then provided an assist for Beto's goal in the return fixture back in April.

The attacking midfielder sat down with the Premier League to answer quickfire questions over the international break.

He revealed that Leighton Baines is the one former Everton player that he would've loved to have played with the most.

The former Leicester City star was then asked to name a young player he thinks will go to the top of the game, and responded by choosing Liverpool's Rio Ngumoha.

Dewsbury-Hall also picked Wayne Rooney as the greatest Premier League player in history, and chuckled when reminded that he could have picked the striker for his question about Everton.

Which Everton players can go to the top?

Everton have several players of differing ages who can reach the top.

Braiden Graham is an up-and-coming talent for the Toffees, and could even make his professional debut for Northern Ireland before he does with the Blues.

Hayden Hackney has been backed to become a future England international, while Harrison Armstrong is an obvious shout.

Tyrique George and Tyler Dibling both have the potential to go far, though there is still lots of work to do with the pair.

The future is looking bright for Everton.
