Tyler Dibling gets Everton deja vu after what happened in England U21s vs Kazakhstan

Tyler Dibling has yet to make his mark at Everton.

The Toffees spent a whopping £40million on the right-winger last summer, signing him on a long-term deal from Southampton.

The 20-year-old endured a rough debut campaign and only managed to make 17 appearances in all competitions.

David Moyes has only allowed Dibling one Premier League appearance so far this campaign, but his performances in the Carabao Cup have finally given Evertonians some hope.

He was also recently called up to England's U21s camp for their EURO qualification matches.

The young Three Lions beat Kazakhstan 4-2 on Friday, but things were all a little bit too Everton for Dibling, despite featuring in the match.

Dibling had perhaps his best game in an Everton shirt after the Blues' 1-0 Carabao Cup win over Wolves.

He provided the assist for Carlos Alcaraz's late goal, but would most likely have won the Player of the Match award without the attacking contribution.

The Englishman was then awarded his first league appearance of the season in the 1-0 win against Ipswich Town before the break, once again proving to be a threat.

However, the common theme with Dibling's chances in the Premier League is that he is usually limited to a small amount of playing time to impress.

Lee Carsley brought Dibling on with 11 minutes to go against Kazakhstan, and he was the final substitution for the Three Lions.

The Everton winger was caught offside once, as he completed 100 per cent of his passes, but they were all in his own half.

Dibling only managed four touches in the short amount of time he was on the pitch, as Everton teammate Tyrique George got himself 51 minutes of playing time.

The chance Dibling still has away from Everton

Dibling has almost certainly made a case to play more often in recent weeks for Everton, but Moyes may still be patient with the youngster.

Coming back to Finch Farm in top form would help the forward's chance of starting, but the game against Kazakhstan gave him nothing to show his Everton manager.

However, England's U21s still have two more games to play, with both Slovakia and Ireland next up.

Dibling will surely be due a start in one of those games, and a good performance could turn out to help his prospects at Everton.
