Alan Myers shares Jack Grealish medical and announcement latest from outside Everton HQ

Alan Myers has suggested that Everton look to be closing in on the signing of Jack Grealish.

The Toffees have been hopeful of bringing Grealish back to Hill Dickinson all summer, while Monaco's Folarin Balogun became a target fairly late on in the window.

A £38.5million transfer plus add-ons has been agreed for the Monaco striker, while the Blues have also struck a loan agreement with Manchester City for Grealish.

David Moyes could even land as many as three signings before Tuesday's 11pm deadline, with Lyon's Ainsley Maitland-Niles also ready for a move to Hill Dickinson.

Now, Grealish appears to be at Everton ahead of completing his move back to the club, with Balogun also in the building.

What Alan Myers has said about Jack Grealish move

While speaking live on Sky Sports from outside Everton's training ground Finch Farm this Tuesday, Myers shared the latest on Grealish and Balogun.

Myers said: "[Balogun] It's an exciting one that he's in the building, he arrived from Nice at Liverpool airport around 1.30 pm today and that should be a formality now, the medical is ongoing and it should be tied up."

While speaking on Grealish' situation, Myers said: "We believe Sunderland and Aston Villa were in for him, Grealish. But he's here; he's pretty much well through his medical now, and we're just waiting for confirmation, but that will happen."

Myers sounded pretty casual when talking about Grealish, which suggests a move for the 30-year-old is not in doubt.

He referred to Balgoun as the "big" transfer for the Blues, with Beto out the door.

Eyes will soon turn to Richarlison and Maitland Niles ahead of the deadline at 11pm.

The striker has travelled from France to complete his move, while Maitland-Niles will also have to do the same.

The only slight doubt is that the right-back is closer to other airports near his current club, Lyon.
