Bologna 'trembling' over Everton's financial might in Jonathan Rowe bidding as latest offer sent
Everton are scaring Bologna as their efforts to sign Jonathan Rowe continue.
The 23-year-old has emerged as a target as the Toffees look to add attacking reinforcements to their squad.
That certainly appears necessary with the true lack of end product currently available to David Moyes.
The Englishman could provide that having caught the eye with the Serie A outfit last season.
He also impressed in the Europa League as he looked to change opinion after a failed spell at Marseille.
Everton have already tabled a bid for Rowe as Bologna grow concerned by what they could offer.
Why Bologna are scared of Everton?
It would prove to be a blow to the Italians if they were to lose the ex-Norwich City man this summer.
He was arguably their best player in his debut campaign as he put up 12 goal involvements in all competitions.
His exit would only add to the disappointment after Santiago Castro departed for Roma earlier in the summer.
That point has been raised by Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport's print edition on Thursday as Bologna are said to be "trembling" at the threat of also losing Rowe.
Everton's part in the "immense financial might" of the Premier League has been raised as part of that concern after their initial offer.
The report suggests that the Red and Blues wouldn't accept £30million, but their resolve could be tested by a bid in the region of £38m.
That could certainly play into Everton's hands as the Bologna's hierarchy are said to "value such profits", which in this case could be upwards of £20m after just one season.

The Blues now know that a bid in and around £38m could see them get hold of the Englishman.
Bologna will accept the right offer, but have already proven that they won't just let him leave for any old amount.
Reports have emerged from Hill Dickinson Stadium that the Toffees have already had a £25m bid rejected.
The ball is now back in Everton's court as they consider offering improved finances for Rowe.
They appear to be readying £30m for the 2003-born talent.
Bologna may rebuff that as they go in search of a fee closer to the £40m mark.
