Everton learn outcome of Adam Aznou medical as next steps outlined

Adam Aznou was hopeful his Everton career would take off this season, but a summer exit was always the most likely outcome.

David Moyes has been reluctant to use the youngster, who arrived from Bayern Munich for a fee of around £7million a year ago.

Aznou was the fourth signing of the first summer transfer window under the Friedkin Group regime.

A year on, though, and he is on his way out of the door at Hill Dickinson Stadium - albeit just temporarily for now.

It had previously been reported Aznou was closing in on a move to Malaga, and further details have now been shared.

What has been reported on Adam Aznou medical?

Aznou has made a rather pathetic two appearances for Everton since arriving.

That includes a late cameo in last week's Carabao Cup win away at Preston North End.

Moyes clearly does not rate the full-back - at least not right now - and a move away is in the best interests of everyone.

BILD reporter Nico Linner has now reported via X that a one-year loan deal for Aznou to join Malaga is already locked in.

He has also already completed his medical, with the paperwork signed off, so all that now awaits is official confirmation from the clubs.

And he is not expected to be the only departure out of Finch Farm over the next 24 hours or so.

Who could be next to leave Everton?

The one obvious answer to that question is Iliman Ndiaye, who has been closing in on a move to Tottenham.

However, fresh reports on Monday afternoon suggest Manchester City could yet hijack that deal.

Arsenal have also been credited with late interest in Ndiaye, so that is certainly one to keep an eye on.

Nathan Patterson is also likely to be off, as is Beto, who is close to joining Fiorentina.

It all makes for a hectic finale to the summer transfer window, which as things stand has not exactly been one to celebrate for Evertonians.
