The Everton and Iliman Ndiaye transfer scenario that may yet leave rival fans fuming
Iliman Ndiaye's Everton exit now seems certain, but there could still yet be a late twist as Tottenham Hotspur push to conclude a deal.
News broke over the weekend that Tottenham had agreed a deal with Everton for Ndiaye.
Tottenham are said to be paying up to £60m for the Senegal international, with the deal appearing to be advancing quickly.
Ndiaye is set to undergo a medical with Tottenham, with that effectively the final step left before a deal is concluded.
However, there could yet be a dramatic late twist in the tale regarding Tottenham's fierce rivals Arsenal.

Could Iliman Ndiaye end up at Arsenal?
Speculation emerged earlier on Monday that Arsenal could potentially move for Ndiaye late in the window.
The Gunners have a history of poaching players from under their rivals' noses, most recently nabbing Eberechi Eze last summer.
And transfer expert Alex Crook has now pondered whether that scenario could once again pan out, which would no doubt leave Spurs fans fuming.
"I do wonder if they'll make a play for Ndiaye," Crook said live on talkSPORT when discussing Arsenal's late-window activity.
"Tottenham fans won't want to hear me say that, but it wouldn't be the first time Arsenal have hijacked their North London rivals."
Everton fans will not particularly care where Ndiaye ends up - Liverpool aside - with supporters now pretty much accepting he is off.
What are chances of Ndiaye bidding war playing out?
The best scenario for Everton at this point is to raise as much money as possible for Ndiaye.
Richarlison and Folarin Balogun appear likely to come in, but the more funds raised through Ndiaye's exit the better.
However, it must be said that everything points towards Spurs concluding this deal before long.
If Ndiaye is indeed ready to undergo a medical with Spurs, Arsenal have surely run out of time to plan a late hijack.
As far as late-window drama goes, it really would be right up there.
