Everton open to Tim Iroegbunam sale as David Moyes draws up new plans
Everton could be set to part ways with Tim Iroegbunam when the transfer window opens.
The Toffees are in need of a partial reset over the summer after a frustrating end to the campaign.
European qualification drifted out of their grasp and that could prompt changes ahead of the new campaign.
That could prompt departures from Hill Dickinson Stadium as the window approaches.
David Moyes is readying plans for the upcoming campaign and it looks set to spell bad news for the defensive midfielder.
Iroegbunam could soon be on his way out after playing a bit-part role on Merseyside in recent years.
Everton happy to sell Tim Iroegbunam for profit
The 22-year-old is coming off the back of his second year with the Blues, but is yet to cement a regular starting role.
There have been plenty of flashes from the Englishman, but they have been few and far between.
His performances have often left fans frustrated as his lack of progression in the midfield raises concerns.
There is still interest building in his signature as Ipswich Town have been linked after their promotion to the Premier League was sealed.
Former Everton scout Bryan King believes an offer would be accepted from the Tractor Boys, or anyone else, for Iroegbunam if it lands a profit for the L3 outfit.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, King said: "It's always good to make profit on a player.
"David Moyes has been saying that his squad isn't big enough and he wants to strengthen it, not weaken it. It will be interesting to see who is in the plans for next season.
"Iroegbunam hasn't been a regular, so if the right offer comes in from the Championship or the lower end of the Premier League, Everton will be very open to a sale."
Ipswich Town could pay over £10m for Iroegbunam
The Tractor Boys are keen on adding to their squad after securing promotion from the Championship.
The i Paper have reported that SCR limits could see Moyes greenlight a move after interest from Portman Road.
If the Toffees are keen to bring in a profit for the midfielder, they would need a fee upwards of £10million.
Iroegbunam joined the Merseyside club in 2024 as part of an unorthodox swap deal as he and Lewis Dobbin swapped sides, each costing around £10m.
Should the West Brom academy product depart Hill Dickinson Stadium this summer, it will have to be a fee above that to fulfil the goal of bringing in a profit.
