Everton are ready to allow Tim Iroegbunam to leave this summer.

The 22-year-old has never been a guaranteed starter ever since his move from Aston Villa in 2024.

Both Sean Dyche and David Moyes have utilised his services, but have had gripes with certain elements of his game.

That saw the defensive midfielder limited to just 17 Premier League starts last campaign.

He could now be on the move away from Hill Dickinson Stadium as the exit door could be open ajar.

The Toffees have a price tag in mind as newly-promoted Hull City look to make their presence known in the transfer market.

Hull City eye move for Tim Iroegbunam

It was a surprise to everyone when the Tigers fought towards the top end of the Championship.

That was only amplified when they made it to the play-off final after a hard-fought win over Millwall across two legs.

Oli McBurnie netted in the final at Wembley to seal a place in the Premier League and now their transfer preparations are getting underway.

Hull Live reported on Tuesday that Hull City are interested in a move for Iroegbunam with a view to bolstering their squad ready for the top flight.

The Englishman is someone of "significant interest" at the MKM Stadium due to his age and experience of the Premier League.

Everton would be open to selling the midfielder if their £20million asking price is met, although that isn't said to be an issue for the Tigers.

Ipswich Town are also interested in the former Aston villa man after he so nearly departed Hill Dickinson Stadium in January.

Here's how much profit Everton can make on selling Iroegbunam

After two years on Merseyside, there is no true sign of the 2003-born ace taking a step up to the top level under Moyes.

That could see a sale make sense anyway, but it would be superb if the Toffees could secure a profit.

Iroegbunam joined as part of a swap deal with a fee in the region of £9m involved.

Should Everton bring in £20m for him after just two seasons, it would prove to be some of the best business they could do.

For a player who is unlikely to be a regular starter making a match-altering impact how good would £10m profit be?
