Everton transfer round-up: Alistair Johnston makes his mind up, while Iliman Ndiaye exit considered

Everton's transfer window is entering a vital period.

The Blues have not added anymore players to their ranks since signing Hayden Hackney and Tyrique George, and the season starts in a few weeks.

They have agreed a fee with Arsenal to sign Christian Norgaard, but that move has not been confirmed yet.

David Moyes' side are also looking to sign a right-back with Celtic's Alistair Johnston on their radar.

There could also be outgoings too, with the likes of Tim Iroegbunam and Tyler Dibling linked with exits.

Baris Alper Yilmaz backed to succeed at Everton

Baris Alper Yilmaz is a name that Everton have been heavily linked with in the past few days.

Turkish journalist Dogukan Yildirim thinks the 26-year-old has the physical attributes to succeed in the Premier League.

Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, he said: "If this transfer happens, I think Baris Alper Yilmaz would adapt well to the physical side of the Premier League.

"In fact, he could even make the difference in some games, in the Turkish Super Lig, he is known for his incredible physical strength, winning duels, and explosive power, he works very hard, puts defenders under pressure, and loves making runs behind the defensive line.

"He can play on both the left and right wing. He has also played as a striker many times for both the Turkish national team and Galatasaray. At one point, he even played as a right-back.

"However, his football intelligence and technical ability are not at the same level as his athleticism, he is far from being an elite technical player, he still has weaknesses in decision-making, passing, finishing, and reading the game.

"Because of that, you need to build the right system around him to get the best out of him. He is much more effective when there is space to attack."

Everton make their move for Nahuel Molina transfer

Everton have made their approach to sign a new right-back, with Atletico Madrid star Nahuel Molina in their crosshairs.

A report from Tutto Juve on Monday claims that the Blues have made a "strong move" to sign him.

It states that Juventus are monitoring the full-back, but it is the Toffees who have held initial discussions and have the financial means to try and bring him in.

Alistair Johnston wants to move to Everton

Alistair Johnston is understood to be top of Everton's list of targets at right-back.

He has told Celtic that he wants to join the Premier League club, according to a report from the Daily Record on Monday.

It states that the L3 outfit are offering £12million with add ons but the Hoops want more money.

However, a deal is expected to be reached with Martin O'Neill "resigned" to losing the defender.

Everton could consider Iliman Ndiaye departure

Iliman Ndiaye has been subject of intense interest and Everton may be persuaded by Al-Hilal.

A report from Caught Offside on Monday claims that the initial offer will be below the expectations of the Merseysiders.

It states that Moyes' side would "seriously consider" an exit if their valuation of £75m was reached.

It would be a significant twist given that his father has denied the possibility of a transfer in the last few days.
