Gabby Agbonlahor can't understand Manchester City terms as Everton hunt Jack Grealish transfer
Gabby Agbonlahor believes that Jack Grealish could end up at Everton again this summer.
The ex-striker played with the Manchester City star 37 times in their time together at Aston Villa.
The 30-year-old winger scored two and notched six assists for the Blues last season, but his season was ended in January by a foot injury.
Everton are believed to keen on re-signing Grealish later in the window, as he is currently recovering from that issue.
They declined the chance to purchase him permanently for £50million, the option that was in the loan deal that was agreed last summer.
However, there was one aspect of the potential deal that left him baffled.

The option to buy is what Agbonlahor could not fathom about his former teammate's future with the Toffees.
He believes that there was no chance of David Moyes' side paying that figure for a player who has just one year left on his contract.
Speaking on talkSPORT on Tuesday, he said: “I think there is a good chance that he will, but I didn’t understand the £50million that Man City thought they were going to get.
“A year left on his contract, you are never going to get that sort of money, if they can get a fee at all, a club like Everton, or whoever Jack signs for, might be like maybe we’ll cover the wages for a year and that’s it.”
Why Everton need to be cautious over Grealish deal
Grealish formed a connection with supporters at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and the majority would like to see him back, there is no doubt about that.
However, the Friedkin Group need to smart about his return, they can't pay over the odds, given the contract situation that Agbonlahor raised.
It seems like they recognise this, as they are willing to wait to secure his services.
Another loan move may be the best outcome for the player and the Merseysiders, even if that is not the way that the Citizens would prefer it to go.
The Blues have already reinforced their permanent ranks on the wings with Tyrique George, but signing Grealish would take expectations to the next level.
He was clearly loving his football again in L3, and if a return can be sorted for a decent fee, or even another temporary switch, it must happen.
If the Etihad Stadium side are demanding too much, though, the Toffees should walk away and pursue alternative targets, and if they really want to, then sign the veteran on a free transfer next summer.
