How much have Everton been told to pay for Jonathan Rowe?
Goodison News reported last week how Rowe remains on Everton's transfer radar.
Now, a fresh report from Sport Mediaset claims that Everton have formally approached Bologna with regards to a deal for Rowe.
A second unnamed English club have also reached out to the Serie A side.
Bologna are said to be holding out for €45million for the 23-year-old, or around £38.5m when converted.
That is a massive outlay for Everton and would make Rowe the Toffees' marquee signing of the summer.
Why Rowe move may soon need to take priority
Rowe was hailed an "aggressive" winger by Gabby Agbonlahor previously; one who also has plenty of pace and directness.
It goes without saying those are three qualities Everton fans would love in a winger.
Rowe's stats last season were not exactly great, though, as he scored just three goals and assisted two more in 28 Serie A games.
For context, Iliman Ndiaye scored six and set up three in 32 Premier League outings last time out from a similar area of the field.
That comparison is important, as Goodison News has carried reports that Ndiaye is now wanted by Al Hilal.
If that interest develops further and Ndiaye moves on, bringing in Rowe - or someone else - becomes even more important before the transfer window closes in a little over a month's time.
