Keito Nakamura's feelings about the Premier League have emerged after Everton's known interest.

The Toffees look to be in the market for more wide options amid links to a number of targets this summer.

Brennan Johnson has been added to David Moyes' roster, but his arrival was to replace Dwight McNeil and not add to what he already had.

Everton have previously enquired about Nakamura, and it does seem he would be quite open to that move.

The Stade Reims winger's feelings over a move have emerged as the summer window continues to rumble on.

However, Everton are not alone in the possible battle for the French club's leading scorer from 2025-2026.

Who have now joined Everton in Keito Nakamura hunt?

Everton are not alone with their interest in Nakamura. The Japanese international led the way for Stade Reims last season with 14 goals in Ligue 2.

Now, he could be on the move this summer.

According to BBC Sport, Hull City are also in the mix for the Japan international.

Stade Reims value the winger at £21.5million, a price that has deterred previous suitors.

Everton's past interest has once again been mentioned, with Fulham and Bournemouth also among the clubs listed.

However, for the Toffees, the most interesting part will be that Nakamura is "eager" to make a move to the Premier League.

Additionally, it is said that he is "keen to leave" Stade Reims this summer after deciding to stay last season in the second tier of French football.

Nakamura has yet to return to action following his appearances in the 2026 World Cup.

He was not involved in Stade Reims' opening Ligue 2 fixtures of the 2026-2027 season.

Could Nakamura's price drop closer to the end of the window?

While Nakamura's stance over leaving could mean that Stade Reims look to part ways, that does seem unlikely at this stage.

The 26-year-old is their star man and he is currently contracted until 2028, so the French side are in no rush to recoup some funds from him.

So, if the Toffees want to scoop up the signature of Nakamura, they would have to cough up the asking price.

However, if they do, it does seem like personal terms would be no issue with the Japanese wanting the move to England's top flight.
