Keito Nakamura: Meet Japan's next star who Everton want to sign
Everton are interested in Stade Reims and Japan winger Keito Nakamura this summer.
The 25-year-old is attracting interest from the Toffees, with Fulham and Bournemouth also being linked.
It has been claimed that the left-winger will leave the Ligue 2 club in the coming weeks for the right price after scoring 14 league goals in the 2025-26 campaign.
Nakamura, who's regarded as one of Japan's "most marketable footballers", could be on his way to Hill Dickinson Stadium soon.
The Japanese forward is said to be very particular about his diet and has signed several commercial partnerships, while also making an appearance at Paris Fashion Week.
At the 2026 World Cup, the attacker showcased his talent on the international stage, scoring one goal and providing one assist in the group stages before the Samurai Blue were knocked out in the last 32 by Brazil.

Nakamura spent this season in the second tier of French football after Reims' relegation, despite offers worth up to £15.5million being tabled for him last summer.
The winger now has an understanding with the Ligue 2 club and an agreement to let him leave if a suitable bid arrives.
According to BBC Sport on 2 July, Reims want around £21.5m for Nakamura as Premier League clubs circle his signature.
While the Blues have enquired about the conditions to sign the Japan international, David Moyes would need to sell forwards before making a move for him.
World Cup footage shows why David Moyes should sign Nakamura
Nakamura's goal against the Netherlands in Japan's 2026 World Cup opener showcased what he could bring to Everton.
While Jack Grealish is expected to stay at Hill Dickinson Stadium and has made the left-wing his own, the Toffees lack quality up front when he was injured.
Moyes could also have Tyrique George back at the Merseyside outfit, but he didn't prove his goalscoring credentials on loan during the 2025-26 campaign.
Nakamura played as a left-wing-back at the World Cup, though, so that does open the door to different possibilities.
The goal against Ronald Koeman's team in the 2-2 draw shows that the attacker has the quality to find the back of the net against the best teams, something that has clearly been missing from the frontline under Moyes.
Japan's next big star could be on his way to Merseyside.
