Jack Grealish wants to move to Everton if he leaves Manchester City before the summer window shuts.

The Toffees have stayed patient for the winger all summer, and now look to have been rewarded.

The Birmingham-born star has liked the post himself, sharing it to his own Instagram story.

There could be nothing in it, but it's very common for clubs to post this type of propaganda online before resigning a player, or tying a contracted player down to a new deal.

Sunderland are trying to sign Marseille left-winger Igor Paixao for over £20m, which would instantly put Grealish's playing time at risk at the Stadium of Light.

The Blues most likely have enough to bring him back permanently, but with time against them, they must reach an agreement on the player's wage.

Grealish is said to be earning £300,000 at the Etihad Stadium, and the Toffees will not want to pay that for an ageing player with injury issues.

He will have to lower his demands, or else a loan deal may emerge the best route for Everton to take.
