Jack Grealish and Everton transfer latest as images emerge from Finch Farm
Jack Grealish has been seen at Finch Farm as questions continue surrounding a permanent return to Everton.
The Englishman has been missing through injury since January after the 1-0 away win at Villa Park.
Since securing three points against his boyhood club, the Manchester City attacker was ruled out with a foot injury.
He underwent surgery to repair the problem and has gone on to make excellent process in his recovery.
That has only added fuel to the fire of speculation over a return to Hill Dickinson Stadium this summer.
Grealish has now made his presence known at Finch Farm, but it may not mean anything towards a permanent deal.
Jack Grealish back in training at Everton HQ
The Blues certainly missed the attacking midfielder after his campaign was ended midway through.
He had contributed to eight Premier League goals in 20 appearances as he helped to raise the standards in L3.
Having him back around the squad was good to see late in the season, but he has now made a return to Finch Farm.
Grealish shared eight images to his Instagram on Wednesday, revealing how happy he is to be back in training.
That has prompted many to grow excited about a permanent move to Hill Dickinson Stadium, but that actually isn't the case - or at least is isn't for now.
Everton and Manchester City yet to agree Grealish deal
The excitement was real surrounding the 30 year old's post after coming back to Finch Farm despite his loan deal running out at the end of the season.
That may quickly fall away as the Daily Mail reported on Wednesday that no decision has been made about Grealish's future, despite the fact he is training with Everton.
There is still plenty of time to go before he confirms his next steps and his rehabilitation has been allowed to take place at Finch Farm due to the good relationship between Everton and Man City.
David Moyes sees the Englishman as a positive influence around the dressing room and that isn't a surprised based on his performances last season.
Stephen Warnock described him as a "maverick" to BBC Sport earlier in the season and that is the perfect way to describe what he adds to the Toffees.
It will now be interesting to see if a deal gets done as Grealish and Everton appear to be a perfect match.
