Jack Grealish and Iliman Ndiaye reacts as Idrissa Gueye's next transfer after Everton confirmed

Iliman Ndiaye has wished Idrissa Gana Gueye well after his departure from Everton.

The Toffees came to a decision to part ways with the midfielder earlier this summer, who has been a loyal servant to the club over the years.

The Senegal international became a fan favourite at Goodison Park, as he then left to join PSG in 2019 before returning to Merseyside three years later.

Gueye's contract expiration meant David Moyes had to add depth to his midfield, which he did early in the window with Hayden Hackney.

Merlin Rohl's loan move was also made permanent, while the Blues recently announced the £7million arrival of Christian Norgaard from Arsenal.

However, Gueye has quickly found a new home, as Ndiaye has reacted to the latest transfer news.

Gueye was always going to be replaced this summer by the Toffees, with the plan to add fresh legs to the midfield.

The summer chase for Hackney proved that, and so uncertainty then clouded the future of Gueye.

When it became clear that the 36-year-old was going to be surplus to requirements this year, all parties decided that it was best for a change.

Now, Gueye has sealed his next transfer, with a move to Saudi Pro League side Diriyah Club now confirmed.

After the midfielder's move was announced on Sunday, Ndiaye was quick to react by liking the official confirmation post.

Gueye also sent a personal message to Everton fans before this transfer was confirmed, with Jack Grealish sending clapping emojis and blue hearts.

Everton-linked midfielder sends Gueye a message

It would be reasonable to think that the Blues are finished with their midfield plans after the arrival of Norgaard.

However, Everton have been linked with Villarreal's Pape Gueye, who has sent his Senegal team-mate a message.

The Villarreal star commented love heart and prayer emojis underneath the post, with his own future set to be resolved this summer.

Everton could wave goodbye to Gueye by welcoming in another one, but a fresher, fitter and stronger version of the midfielder.
