Manchester City eye Iliman Ndiaye, Everton already know how to spend transfer fee
Manchester City are keeping tabs on a potential move to sign Iliman Ndiaye from Everton.
The 26-year-old has proven to be a true star for the Toffees since his move from Marseille in the summer of 2024.
After contributing to nine goals last season, he could be on the move once the summer window opens.
There is always going to be interest in his signature as his unique talents with the ball at his feet could fit in for many top sides.
Man City have long been linked with a move for Ndiaye and it could now be the perfect chance for Everton to cash in.
Everton have signings in mind as Iliman Ndiaye exit looms
The Senegal international's reputation has continued to grow since coming in at Goodison Park two years ago.
He has become a consistent attacking force in the Premier League and that hasn't gone unnoticed.
Various great sides have showcased interest already and that is only likely to step up when the transfer window opens.
Manchester City already have an eye on the attacker, with Alan Nixon reporting on Sunday that they see him as a potential squad signing.
Ndiaye could move to the Etihad as part of a busy summer after Pep Guardiola's departure.
The Toffees are set to demand a "chunky fee" but are already said to have signings of their own in mind and could use the fee for the Senegalese star to land those targets.
How far could Manchester City go to sign Ndiaye?
It feels as if the former Sheffield United man could be on the move this summer.
Losing him would prove to be a blow, but it may be difficult for the Blues to turn down a big offer if it comes in.
Man City could be the side to make that bid, with them not adverse to splashing the cash over the years.
They signed Antoine Semenyo in January and have previously spent massive sums on Jack Grealish and Omar Marmoush recently.
The latter signed in 2025 for around £59million, so a similar fee could be in the pipeline for Ndiaye.
They may even extend further to potentially £65m or more due to his obvious Premier League interest.
The Egypt international looks set to leave City this summer, so those funds could be immediately spent on the Everton star.
