The Friedkin Group quietly take social media action over Harrison Armstrong outrage at Everton
The Friedkin Group have shut down the replies to a post they shared about Harrison Armstrong earlier this year.
It's been spotted on X amid outrage among Everton fans about reported talks to sell the 19-year-old midfielder to Nottingham Forest.
Armstrong has started the season strongly for the Blues.
However, he is now expected to miss Saturday's Premier League meeting with Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium amid ongoing speculation surrounding his future at Everton.
David Ornstein has told TNT Sports that he does see a deal being done before the transfer deadline at 11pm on Tuesday, leading to an outpouring of anger in the direction of Eveton owners TFG.

What TFG said about Harrison Armstrong back in February
Earlier this year, The Friedkin Group's official X account posted a video clip called 'Meet Harrison Armstrong'.
The post was captioned, saying: "Excellence starts with great teammates, and Everton continues to set the standard. Harrison Armstrong shares how he’s working every day in training to show the fans what he’s capable of."
TFG have instantly come under fire for playing with the idea of selling the Liverpool-born midfielder at such a late stage in the window.
And in a bid to shut down a host of angry responses to that post, TFG's X admin has locked the replies.
Why Everton fans are so angry about Armstrong being sold
Firstly, this has come out of the blue.
Secondly, the transfer window shuts in just a few days.
And thirdly, he's the best young player that Everton have got and selling him - just as he's started to make his mark - is a real kick in the teeth for a fanbase who've been crying out for a young academy ace to start impressing in the first
Armstrong is understandably a player who holds a high value, but there's not much better in football than seeing young, local lads rising through the ranks and starring in the men's team.
Next year, he'll no doubt be worth more money. And the same for the year after that. And so on.
Selling him now, when there are other, older players in the squad who are more replaceable, seems like a ridiculous decision from TFG.
They're right to shut down the replies to that post. They'll be getting slaughtered on it otherwise.
