The move now lined up for Folarin Balogun after Everton farce
Everton fans could soon find out just how fit - or not - Folarin Balogun is as a Monaco exit remains on.
The Untied States international flew in for a medical on Tuesday ahead of the 11pm transfer deadline.
In what was one of the stories of the window, Balogun's move collapsed at that late stage.
Everton found a problem in the forward's medical, which some of cynically suggested was a ploy to lower the £40million pre-agreed fee.
Balogun then decided he wanted nothing to do with Everton and returned to France.
But the 25-year-old could soon find himself at another club, with Everton supporters no doubt keeping a close eye on developments.

More and more details are emerging on Balogun's collapsed move to Everton.
That includes a suggestion that Balogun was late for his scheduled flight on Tuesday morning, which made it even more of a race against time.
Well we may find out in hours just how fit Balogun is because a move to Saudi Arabia is on the cards.
Ahead of the window closing for Saudi Pro League clubs later on Thursday, Monaco president Thiago Scuro has confirmed discussions have taken place
"We still have other markets open, which we are having discussions in different players including Balo," he told reporters.
"Let's see what can still happen until Thursday, because we still have markets that have the financial capacity to do something and this is what happened and this is where we are today."
It means Balogun could yet undergo a medical to complete a move to Saudi, with Monaco in desperate need to raise funds.
Everton continue to be linked with players post-window
The transfer window may now be shut until January, but that does not mean Premier League clubs cannot still make signings.
There are a number of high-profile free agents out there for one reason or another.
Anthony Martial is the latest to be linked with Everton, following previous links with Jamie Vardy and Karim Benzema.
In the view of many, any of those are better than nothing to provide support to Thierno Barry up top.
