Tyler Dibling could be on his way out of Everton in the summer.

The Englishman came in for big money from Southampton and was a highly anticipated addition.

He was coming off the back of a breakout season at St Mary's, even if the Saints were relegated from the Premier League.

Things just haven't worked out for the 20-year-old on Merseyside as David Moyes has been reluctant to utilise his services.

That could prompt Dibling to make a move elsewhere in the summer, especially if the Toffees bring in another winger option.

Everton have plans in place for potential incoming funds

There is certainly a need for improvement at Hill Dickinson Stadium after a terrible end to the campaign.

A failure to win any of the final seven games of the year meant that European qualification was simply impossible.

That was hugely disappointing after so many positive spells throughout the year for the Blues.

Things need to be different next season, but they could start by getting worse before they get that better.

That comes with Iliman Ndiaye's potential exit as Alan Nixon reported true interest from Manchester City on Sunday.

Everton look set to demand a "chunky fee" for the attacking midfielder's signature, but have plans in place to spend any money that comes in.

If the Senegal international did join the Citizens, there would be a gap there for Dibling to slot in, but he could find himself in exactly the same position.

If the former Sheffield United man is to join the 10-time Premier League champions, the Toffees would need to fill that gap.

A new right wing option would certainly be necessary and there would be plenty to spend if Ndiaye joins City.

That would likely see Dibling remain in the same position as right now, but with a new face infront of him.

That could see a move elsewhere, on loan or permanently, make total sense, although he may be needed for squad depth.

It just doesn't look like it's going to work out for the ex-Southampton star, regardless of Ndiaye's future on Merseyside.
