What Everton still hope to do as late-window transfer prediction made
Everton head into the final week of the summer transfer window eager to make multiple signings.
Five signings have so far been made this summer, with two of those - Tyrique George and Merlin Rohl - previously on loan.
A new right-back remains a priority for Everton, but they are also looking to add to their squad elsewhere.
The mood around Hill Dickinson Stadium is now a lot better following Everton's 2-0 win over Crystal Palace.
And it may well be that David Moyes has at least one more player by the time Everton are next in Premier League action.
That is amid a new prediction shared on Everton's transfer business.
What business are Everton still looking to do?
Everton fans are excited about the prospect of signing Daniel Munoz, who was part of the Palace side beaten by the Toffees on Saturday.
Whether it is Munoz or any of the other countless names linked, Everton desperately need to bring in a new right-back.
As pointed out by journalist Joe Thomas for the Liverpool Echo on Sunday afternoon, it would a surprise if "there are not serious efforts to improve elsewhere".
A new centre-forward could be targeted, especially if Beto is granted permission to leave late in the window.
Who are the other Everton players that could move on?
Tim Iroegbunam saw a move to Hull City collapse, but Trabzonspor are interested in the midfielder.
That is an exit Moyes may well be happy to sign off on if it means raising some funds to invest back into the squad.
Nathan Patterson is another who may still move on before the summer transfer window shuts at 11pm on 1 September.
It all makes for a potentially busy final week of the window for Moyes' men as they look to build a squad capable of challenging for the European spots.
On the face of it, Everton's squad is not quite strong enough to do that.
But that could all change over these next eight days or so.
