Rico Lewis may yet be part of Everton's transfer plans ahead of the transfer deadline's buzzer.

The Toffees are locked in talks with Manchester City this summer, and have been discussing the potential of Jack Grealish returning to Hill Dickinson.

Sunderland have recently entered the race for the forward, but his preference is said to be a move back to the Blues, if he is to leave Man City.

A big plot twist in a potential move has now arrived, with Enzo Maresca's pushing to sign Iliman Ndiaye.

The Senegal international is valued at around £80million, and there has been a suggestion of a swap deal between the two clubs.

But with David Moyes a fan of Lewis, could the defender also be discussed in talks?

Everton need to sign a right-back, and Angus Kinnear has been adamant that the club are waiting for the right target to push for.

Moyes is said to be an admirer of Lewis, whose future at City has started to become more clear since the start of the season.

The 21-year-old featured off the bench in City's Community Shield loss to Arsenal, and was also hooked while his side were losing to Bournemouth on the opening day.

Man City have already spent big this summer, and may feel like using Grealish in a swap deal for Ndiaye could help them have to pay less money up front for Everton's star man.

Adding Lewis into the deal seems an obvious move for all parties, unless the Toffees are solely focused on another right-back target.

What is Man City's stance on Lewis exit?

Lewis emerged under the guidance of Pep Guardiola at the Etihad Stadium, quickly becoming an important part of the first-team squad.

He has helped his club lift two Premier League trophies, the Champions League, a Carabao Cup and a brace of FA Cup's.

He also has the ability to play at left-back or further up in midfield, and has made five England appearances to date.

Man City are willing to let Lewis leave, and could even offer the right-back in talks for a possible swap deal involving Ndiaye and Grealish.

That said, Everton may still ask for another £25m, considering Grealish is valued in the region of £20m, with Lewis at £35m.
