Speaking on Lupen Sports on 11 August, Altunterim said: "Let's say Everton make their offer tomorrow and it reaches a total of £47million. Galatasaray says, 'Okay, sold.' All hell would break loose.
"There had been an idea of loaning Leao with an obligation to buy and using the money from Baris to pay for Uzun and spend it there. But after these latest events, now it's like this, everyone has taken a step back. They got into the mindset of 'Let's make the transfers first.'"

Yilmaz shouldn't be a priority for Everton if their idea is to re-sign Grealish from Manchester City.
With Tyrique George's arrival and the former Aston Villa star's possible return to Hill Dickinson Stadium, the Toffees will surely have enough options in the position.
Along with Grealish's return, the Blues should be working on reinforcing the right-back spot, which still arguably remains the weakest spot in the team.
Work on signing defensive reinforcements will arguably be ongoing, but they need to be finalised sooner rather than later.
Then the final piece of the puzzle at the Merseyside outfit could be a reliable goalscorer who can push Thierno Barry and Beto to do better next season.
