Everton forward Iliman Ndiaye is the target of intense transfer speculation from Al-Hilal.

The exciting winger has previously been the subject of reported interest from Manchester United and Arsenal earlier in the transfer window.

However, neither of the Premier League big-hitters has yet followed up on any potential interest in the Senegal international.

Since moving to Everton in July 2024, Ndiaye has scored 17 goals in 71 appearances across all competitions for the Toffees.

With others seemingly not coming forward, Saudi Pro League outfit Al-Hilal are trying to get in ahead of any rival bidders.

And a new report has now shared Everton's own stance on an exit for the 26-year-old before the end of the transfer window.

Goodison News has looked at the possibilities for Everton if they do sell Ndiaye this window.

However, there is little point in hiding the fact it would be a huge blow to lose the former Marseille man, especially with a return for Jack Grealish not looking especially likely right now.

The good news for Everton fans is that Liverpool Echo journalist Joe Thomas reported that the Toffees are not surprised by the interest.

He wrote that Everton are in a position of strength over Ndiaye's future, and they believe they hold the cards as he still has three years remaining on his contract with the club.

Moreover, he said that there has not yet been any formal contact between Al-Hilal and Everton over a potential transfer.

What has David Moyes previously said about Iliman Ndiaye sale?

Everton boss David Moyes has been pretty unequivocal about his stance on Ndiaye in the past.

It stands to reason that the Toffees boss would not want to lose one of his best players from his squad.

But he was especially adamant that Ndiaye would not be a player he wants to lose when asked about him towards the back end of last season.

He said: "He is the last person I would consider selling. There are others as well [that I wouldn’t want to sell].

"But my point is I have no interest in hearing the talk if there is talk out there."

So, for now at least, Everton fans can rest easy.
