The possibilities that open up for Everton if Iliman Ndiaye sale is sanctioned

Everton would see a big cash influx come their way if they were to sell Iliman Ndiaye.

The Toffees may lose their star man this summer after failing to reach an agreement over a new contract.

This is because Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal want the Senegal international, who could be open to a move to the Middle East.

Some fans may suggest that Ndiaye would be silly to make the move so early in his career, but the same side that want him also managed to steal Crysencio Summerville from West Ham, ahead of the likes of Manchester United.

David Moyes' side have seen multiple contract offers rejected by the player and his camp since the start of the year, with the main disagreement being over a release clause.

Now, Everton could sell Ndiaye, but that would open up a realm of possibilities for Moyes.

It has been reported that Al-Hilal have opened talks to try and sign Ndiaye.

Negotiations are at an early stage, but the player is open to initial talks.

A deal is said to depend on Everton's stance, who may not want to sell the 26-year-old, but if they do, they could go big with transfers elsewhere.

It's clear that a right-back is a priority for Everton, and a deal for Strasbourg's Guela Doue could become financially achievable through Ndiaye's sale.

The same could be said to get a replacement for the right-winger, with Como's Assane Diao linked to Hill Dickinson.

It would also give the Toffees funds to think about signing cover at left-back, which may not happen if Ndiaye isn't sold, a scenario that could harm Adam Aznou's development.

If money is still available after those three transfers, funds could also be put towards signing another number six in the middle of the park, to give Everton's current midfielders a run for their money.
