Why Everton have been told to complete 'no-brainer' Kyle Walker transfer
Kyle Walker is apparently once again on Everton's radar for a summer transfer.
The Toffees have a blindingly obvious problem to solve at right-back in the remainder of the transfer window.
Long-serving captain Seamus Coleman has now departed, while Nathan Patterson is not fancied by Moyes.
Jake O'Brien had to fill in there for the majority of last season, while James Garner has deputised there but Everton lose his quality in central midfield when he does.
There have been no shortage of links to right-backs, and veteran Burnley defender Walker is the latest name to crop up.
And Gabby Agbonlahor thinks a move for the 36-year-old would represent a "no-brainer" fo Everton this summer.
What did Gabby Agbonlahor say about Everton's interest in Kyle Walker?
Walker has been linked with a move to Everton several times in the past, but a move has never materialised.
It was reported that Everton are once again weighing up a move for Walker, who has 12 months left on his Burnley contract.
The Clarets were relegated from the Premier League last season, so a move to the Toffees would offer him the chance to remain in the top flight.
Alan Brazil made Agbonlahor aware of Everton's interest live on talkSPORT's breakfast show on Wednesday.
And Agbonlahor thinks that Walker still very much has the ability to perform in the Premier League.
He said: "100 per cent (they should sign him).
"It's a no-brainer if they can get that through. I think he's definitely still able to play in the Premier, 100 per cent."
One thing is for sure, though, Everton have to get something done this transfer window.
Who else could Everton sign this summer?
How on earth Everton have still not managed to sign a right-back is anyone's guess.
This is not a new issue, it's been a problem at Everton now for several seasons, and there is a clear desperation to get it solved now.
However, they do keep hitting some dead ends, which is why Walker is emerging as a short-term solution.
Celtic's Alistair Johnston has been predominantly linked, but there is a discrepancy over valuation between the two teams.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka wants out of West Ham, but his wage demands are thought to be a barrier to Everton's interest.
Djed Spence has also been mentioned as a possibility but Inter Milan are thought to be heavily interested in signing the Tottenham Hotspur man.
