Everton's Iliman Ndiaye remains a target for Saudi side Al-Hilal.

The Senegalese star is one of the Toffees' most important players and his exit would undoubtedly leave David Moyes' side in a weaker position.

There have been many up and down moments throughout the saga involving the 26-year-old.

One of which included Ndiaye's father stating he won't leave this summer.

But it appears that is not stopping Al-Hilal in their pursuti amid the latest from Saudi Arabia.

They are now making moves in order to bring the winger to the Riyadh-based club.

Why Everton are set for fresh Iliman Ndiaye raid

Everton will have to brace for an approach for Ndiaye as moves are being made by Al-Hilal.

The Blues do not want to lose their star man but it seems their resolve will be tested.

According to journalist Sacha Tavolieri, who boasts over 238,000 followers on X, Al-Hilal are looking to accelerate their pursuit of the winger..

That acceleration has been put into effect as Brazilian Malcom is expected to depart on loan this window.

He is set to join fellow Saudi club Al-Diriyah from Al-Hilal according to Tavolieri.

As stated, that exit would free up a place in the squad for Ndiaye ahead of the upcoming season.

Saudi Pro League squad rules mean that clubs can only register 10-non Saudi players, making this move all the more significant for the Toffees.

Everton have not completely ruled out selling Ndiaye this summer as long as their valuation is met.

Ndiaye is said to be valued at around £75million by officials at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

What would Ndiaye exit mean for Everton's transfer plans?

Everton have been making moves in the wide department and a big-money bid was tabled for Turkish winger Baris Alper Yilmaz.

Dwight McNeil and Brennan Johnson are set to swap places with their medicals completed. Meanwhile, Jack Grealish could help add the necessary depth if re-signed.

Losing Ndiaye may actually mean Everton require two further forwards this summer, rather than one.

So, if Al-Hilal make their move, it could be a busy final three weeks to the window for the Merseyside outfit.
