Why Kenny Tete transfer is now in limbo as Everton face deadline day collapse
Kenny Tete could once again watch a move to Everton collapse at Fulham.
The Netherlands right-back was closing in on a £9million move to Hill Dickinson Stadium ahead of the 11pm deadline.
Instead, David Moyes could watch it crumble in front of his eyes.
Tete almost joined Everton last summer as a free agent, before changing his mind and re-signing with Fulham.
And now, as Everton prepare for what could be their busiest deadline day ever, drama is starting already.

Everton face double deadline day blow
Tete was set to sign for Everton alongside Richarlison in a double deal worth £44million.
Instead, now neither could happen.
The Daily Mail reports in its print edition that Tete's move depended on Fulham signing a replacement.
It's stated by the newspaper on Tuesday that Rayo Vallecano have stalled talks with the Cottagers over Andrei Ratiu.
With that, both transfers are now said to be in "limbo."
Who else could Everton sign?
Even if Tete or Richarlison fail to sign on Tuesday, Moyes and the Toffees are set to be very busy.
Their two most expensive and headline deals are cruising towards completion, though.
Folarin Balogun is set for his medical and will sign for Everton in a deal worth over £40million from AS Monaco.
On top of that, Jack Grealish will return on loan with a deal ironed out with Manchester City, who are signing Iliman Ndiaye, it seems.
Changes can happen instantly in transfer windows, especially as the deadline quickly approaches.
And unfortunately, late changes are usually negative, as Everton, Fulham and Tete could be about to find out the hard way.
A right-back has been needed all summer, it was basically promised by Angus Kinnear and the Friedkins.
So, to potentially not sign one at all, is simply mismanagement at the highest level.
