Jack Grealish may have just hinted at Everton stay with subtle social media post
Jack Grealish could have a permanent move from Manchester City to Everton in the pipeline.
The England international is out injured after being forced to undergo surgery on a foot injury back in late January.
He last featured for the Toffees in a 1-0 away win over Aston Villa, where he helped David Moyes and Co. get the better of his former side.
Despite being ruled out for the campaign, he has still kept abreast with the latest goings on at Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Everton fans want Grealish to stay, but his latest social media post could signal an imminent Manchester City exit.

Jack Grealish makes subtle nod to Everton return
The Blues have come so close to European qualification this season, even with the injury problems they’ve had this campaign.
It’s fair to say in the early stages of the season that the Man City loanee made a difference in raising the levels of his new colleagues on Merseyside.
| Stat (Premier League 25/26) | Jack Grealish |
| Matches | 20 |
| Minutes played | 1631 |
| Goals | 2 |
| Assists | 6 |
| Chances created | 38 |
Even with his injury, he has been seen in and around the first team at Hill Dickinson and beyond, proving that his influence is still there.
That has seen him build a true affinity with the Toffees faithful, so much so that it has impacted his social media activity.
In his latest Instagram post, he shared a series of images with the caption, “Every week, a step closer.”

That was followed by a royal blue heart, rather than the sky blue of Manchester City, something various City fans used in the comments.
It may be a reach, but it does show the link that the attacker has made in L3 and could well point towards Grealish joining Everton permanently in the summer.
Grealish throws shade at Manchester City? Or is it respect for Everton?
There are certainly two ways to look at things like this, and there will be supporters at the Etihad who won’t be happy with their record signing.
The England international joined the Citizens in 2021 for £100million and is still on their books despite being on Merseyside temporarily.
Fans may think he should show loyalty to them, even though he is now employed by Everton, regardless of his injury.
Grealish is proving his class by standing by the Toffees even if he may never play for them again.
Moyes took a chance on him and gave him a platform to escape his struggles under Pep Guardiola, and it seems that he is repaying that with his activity while on loan.
