Every Everton player who'll have their future to play for in 2026-27 Premier League season
Everton's squad could look very different this time next year.
The Blues suffered a disappointing end to the last campaign, and will be looking to push on in the 2026-27 season.
David Moyes is chasing a European qualification berth, after being just four points away last time around.
To try and do that, he has brought Tyrique George and Merlin Rohl back from their loans, and signed three further players.
Brennan Johnson provides a new option on the wings, while Christian Norgaard and Hayden Hackney give them steel in midfield.
Ahead of their opening game with Crystal Palace on Saturday, Goodison News looks at every player who are playing for their future this season.
Why Beto and another attacker may be at risk of Everton exit
Beto is a high-profile player who is at risk of leaving the Toffees at the end of the campaign.
His contract expires in the summer of 2027, and his performances may dictate whether he earns an extension.
Moyes praised the Guinea-Bissau star's attitude after his brace in the 3-0 win over Chelsea last season.
He said: "He's a great boy to work with, he's incredibly humble, he tries to improve himself every day."
However, he frustrates in equal measure, missing chances and not doing enough consistently.
The Blues have an option to extend his deal by a further year, but whether they take that or up or not remains to be seen.
Tyler Dibling is another attacker who could be worried, he has not endeared himself to Moyes so far, with just 513 minutes for the Blues.
However, his contract expires in 2029, so he may have more security over his future.
Two centre-backs may face the axe at Everton
James Tarkowski may also be playing for his future in the new season.
While he is under contract until 2028, after signing an extension in October 2025, he is not getting any younger.
He will be 34 years old by the time that the 2027-28 campaign rolls around, and Moyes may decide to move on by then.
He may decide to give Jake O'Brien a chance next to Jarrad Branthwaite, if Tarkowski has an error-prone season.
Michael Keane is another centre-back who could be on the chopping block, as his contract is up at the end of the campaign.
Four more players who could find themselves looking for new clubs
The depth within the squad is a concern for the L3 outfit and it may be the same next summer
Tim Iroegbunam is still at the club, with the likes of Hull City and Ipswich Town circling, but his deal is up at the end of the season.
Carlos Alcaraz is another midfielder with major question marks, as he is in the same situation.
Nathan Patterson has not won David Moyes' trust for the right-back berth, and it is unlikely that his terms are extended.
Tom King is also out of contract, although his situation may depend on whether Mark Travers secures an exit.
