Tyler Dibling 'disappointed' with what Everton manager David Moyes has repeatedly done to him
Tyler Dibling has still struggled for game time at Everton this season.
The young winger was signed for £40million from Southampton in the summer of 2025, but he has barely featured for the Blues.
He made just 17 appearances last season in all competitions, for a total of 513 minutes.
His exclusion has continued this season, with just four appearances for a total of 182 minutes.
The sale of Iliman Ndiaye looked to be exactly what Dibling needed, but Jack Grealish and Tyrique George have been preferred on the flanks.
David Moyes has been handed criticism for his failure to include the 20-year-old, but does not seem to be changing his mind anytime soon.
What has been said about David Moyes' treatment of Tyler Dibling?
Blues legend Duncan Ferguson, who has recently been named as Glentoran manager, has spoken about Dibling's treatment.
In an exclusive interview with Give Me Sport, the Scotsman revealed that Dibling won't be happy.
He said: "Tyler Dibling's not playing, and he'd be disappointed in that because David brought him in.
"Obviously at the moment he doesn't fancy putting him in [the XI], does he? Or he'd put him in."
It is an issue that is plain to see, but Moyes will not bend to the pressure and just throw the former Saints attacker into the mix.
He repeatedly makes the decision to not turn to him, and that will likely continue.
Why Everton need Dibling to be a success
Dibling would have been much more dangerous on the right hand side than Merlin Rohl was against Chelsea.
Moyes admitted in his post-match media duties that he put the German there to combat a player that did not even play, Pep Chavarria.
He simply can't be that cautious, and has to find a way to get Dibling a role, before it is too late.
He cost too much money for the transfer to fail, the Toffees are not a club that can just throw finances around and sign players for the sake of it.
He has reportedly been impressing in training, and deserves the opportunity to stake his claim for a starting place.
If he does not take it, and can't influence the game, then Moyes is within his rights to take him out of the starting line-up and restrict his game time again, but he has to give him a shot.
Otherwise, the 11-cap England Under-21 star may start to consider his future at the Hill Dickinson Stadium, and thrown in the towel on his time on Merseyside.
