Everton will look to preserve their unbeaten start to the season against Chelsea on Saturday.

Xabi Alonso brings his Blues side to Hill Dickinson Stadium, and the Stamford Bridge outfit should be full of confidence.

They thrashed Bournemouth 5-1 last time out, snapping a three-game winless run in the Premier League at the same time.

As for David Moyes' men, a response is required after being held to a disappointing 2-2 draw at Hull City last Sunday.

These two sides have been clashing in the Premier League ever since it was formed in 1992, making it a classic top-flight rivalry.

But there does appear to be a clear favourite regarding where the three points will be heading on Saturday.

What is Everton's win probability vs Chelsea?

It's fifth against sixth this Saturday lunchtime, with Everton at least momentarily moving into the Champions League spots if they beat Chelsea.

That's going to be easier said than done though, particularly with the Blues' star-studded attack force to contend with.

However, Opta Analyst's supercomputer is putting its faith in the home side to get the job done at Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Indeed, it's afforded Everton a 42.9 per cent chance of victory on Saturday, with Chelsea handed a 30.4 per cent probability of three points.

A draw is given a 26.7 per cent likelihood of being the outcome at full-time, which probably wouldn't be a bad result for either side.

But, if Everton are to emerge victorious, they're going to need an entirely new cast of heroes to step up this weekend from the last win over Chelsea.

Who scored in Everton's last win over Chelsea?

In recent times, it's been Chelsea who've largely held the bragging rights over Everton.

Across the last five Premier League meetings dating back to April 2024, the Londoners have won three of them, with one draw and one Everton win.

That Toffees triumph came in the most recent clash, however, with Everton beating Chelsea 3-0 back in March of this year.

However, Beto scored two that day and Iliman Ndiaye grabbed the other, both of whom obviously no longer Everton players.

This time around it will surely be up to the likes of Thierno Barry, Jack Grealish and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to find the back of the net.

So far this season, Everton have beaten Ipswich and Crystal Palace in the Premier League, meaning a real statement win is still to be made.

But if they can defeat Chelsea, that would really send a message to the rest of the division that Moyes' Toffees are a proper force to be reckoned with this year.
