How did Elijah Campbell fair in his MK Dons debut?
Joining Everton's academy system back in 2017, Elijah Campbell's potential has been known to Toffees coaches for some time.
The versatile central defender has been capped by England at youth level, and has been a regular in Everton's Under-21s for many years now.
MK Dons are the latest side to secure his loan signature, with the 22-year-old joining the newly-promoted League One side for the 2026-27 season.
After being an unused substitute against Peterborough on 12 September, Campbell made his debut against Wimbledon last Thursday.
He started and played the full 90 minutes in a 0-0 draw, operating on the left of a centre-back trio.
Per FotMob, he completed 82 per cent of his passes, played 10 passes into the final third, made four clearances and had one shot on goal.
However, he did fail to win any of his four ground duels and just two of his seven in the air, so he's far from cemented his starting role with this performance.
That being said, Campbell has at least seen action for his loan club, which is more than can be said for Adam Aznou.
Adam Aznou has come close to making Malaga debut
Signing for Everton last summer from Bayern Munich, Aznou is a player that many on Merseyside have high hopes for.
As of yet, however, his senior career is somewhat refusing to get off the ground.
The 20-year-old has made just two competitive appearances for Everton, and secured a deadline-beating loan move to Malaga this summer.
But after being an unused substitute against Levante on 6 September, Aznou has missed the matchday squad in the La Liga sides' last three games.
Goodison News has covered Aznou reportedly suffering from an abductor strain in his left leg, as well as suffering from a stomach bug too.
Because of this, he's still waiting to make his Malaga debut, and will aiming to be fit for their first game back after the break on 9 October.
