Folarin Balogun set for quickfire Everton transfer as terms very advanced

Everton have moved quickly to lock up the signing of AS Monaco striker Folarin Balogun.

All isn't well at Hill Dickinson Stadium, but they are pressing ahead with transfers despite tension at the highest level.

What will Everton pay to sign Folarin Balogun?

In terms of money alone, this will be the headline signing of the lot before the 11pm deadline on Tuesday.

Sebastien Denis has now reported that Everton will pay a blockbuster fee in excess of £34.2million for the striker.

The Foot Mercato journalist states that talks are now "very advanced", with Monaco confident to turn the page quickly.

The French club are somewhat happy to sell given the talent they have, and what they've signed already.

The Brazilian could be set for a emotional reunion with the Blues, as Iliman Ndiaye prepares to go the other way to Tottenham.

But, with Balogun on his way to Everton, there are certain doubts over where the South American would actually fit for the money suggested.

Jack Grealish and Kenny Tete also look set to sign on the dotted line before Tuesday night, in much more needed transfers for Moyes.

Multiple signings were needed, it's been very clear all summer, yet it's taken this long to actually get them close.
