How Everton could actually now get cut-price Folarin Balogun deal after medical drama
Folarin Balogun's move to Everton is not dead in the water just yet.
The United States international had looked set to join to Toffees in a £40million deal on deadline day.
Balogun flew in for his medical on Tuesday ahead of the 11pm deadline for Premier League clubs.
However, news emerged that issues were flagged in Balogun's Everton medical.
But that does not necessarily mean a deal is off the cards entirely just yet.

What is latest on Folarin Balogun to Everton?
Fans were already growing concerned over the status of Balogun's move as the clock ticked ever closer to 11pm.
And news of issues being flagged in his medical is pretty much the worst news possible for supporters.
At this stage, the move is in serious jeopardy. Everton do not want to pay £40m for Balogun if he is not 100 per cent fit.
However, according to Ben Jacobs via talkSPORT, it could actually work in Everton's favour.
Monaco have made a big-money signing of their own and need to sell before the window shuts.
"Monaco may need to do a lower number with Everton," Jacobs added.
"Usually when there are medical complications, if Everton are not satisfied, it is pull the plug or get a better deal done."
Jacobs did add that Monaco also have the option of accepting Chelsea's latest bid for Lamine Camara to resolve their headache.
Are Jack Grealish and Ainsley Maitland-Niles still joining Everton?
Everton were hoping to complete three signings on deadline day, offset by the exit of Iliman Ndiaye, Beto and others.
Remarkably, with the window due to close in two hours, Ndiaye is still an Everton player, while Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Jack Grealish have yet to be announced.
It remains to be seen exactly where each of those deals stand.
It is not uncommon for transfer to go beyond the deadline, with deal sheets submitted.
Even if Grealish and Maitland-Niles join, though, Everton will now be left incredibly short at centre-forward if this Balogun issue is not resolved.
