Jack Grealish winners to be named imminently as Aston Villa in second Everton hijack
Aston Villa have made another attempt to nab Manchester City winger Jack Grealish from under Everton's noses.
Grealish has spent time with both clubs, having come through the ranks at Villa Park prior to joining City for a then-British record £100million in 2021.
The England international was a big hit on loan at Hill Dickinson Stadium last season, meanwhile, and there have been high hopes of a return this summer.
With just over 24 hours of the window left to go, however, it is still not known exactly where Grealish is heading - if anywhere.
But the situation will soon become clearer one way or another as another update is shared on the 30-year-old's future.

What is latest on Jack Grealish amid Villa and Everton interest?
There have even been suggestions Everton could sign Grealish permanently from Man City.
If it is to be a loan deal, then it has been reported the Toffees will pay up to 90 per cent of his hefty wages.
Whether it is a permanent deal or a loan, Everton fans simply want this deal to be concluded.
But there is a potential spanner in the works as Villa are not giving up hope of landing the winger themselves.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano via X on Monday evening: "Negotiations between Everton and City are well underway… while Aston Villa called again today after they did the same last week.
"Jack’s future will be decided soon."
That final sentence states the obvious, of course, as the teams only have until 11pm on Tuesday to win this race.
Will Grealish talks be impacted by Iliman Ndiaye?
Amid all this chatter regarding Grealish, Iliman Ndiaye appears to be on the verge of joining City.
In fact, it has been reported on Monday evening that Man City have agreed a £65m deal with Everton for Ndiaye.
However, Romano states that discussions between the two sides over Ndiaye are separate to those taking place for Grealish.
The same was said regarding Richarlison and Tottenham when it looked as though Ndiaye was going there.
There are plenty of irons still in the fire heading into deadline day, then, with fans just desperate for some positive outcomes.
