Jarrod Bowen could be on his way to Everton with his West Ham United future still in doubt.

David Moyes is keen on a reunion with his former London Stadium favourite, who could leave the Hammers following their relegation to the Championship.

Bowen missed out on the England squad for the World Cup, and a year in the second tier may not help his chances of ever getting back into Thomas Tuchel's good books in the future.

The Englishman did what he could to try and save the Irons from relegation, and though his qualities are too good for the Championship, he could still end up staying.

However, Moyes can offer the winger a new challenge at Hill Dickinson Stadium, with the Toffees preparing for another season of targeting European qualification.

Everton are keen on signing Bowen, but some may feel like it's just another case of Moyes relying on former players for success.

Jarrod Bowen is an anomaly to David Moyes 'narrative'

Alan Nixon has reported via his Patreon that Moyes is pushing Everton to make a £20million bid for Bowen.

The 29-year-old's future is still up in the air, as he could follow fellow team-mate and Hill Dickinson-linked star Tomas Soucek in announcing that he's staying to help in the fight for promotion.

Bowen registered 20 goals and assists in the Premier League last season, but the Blues aren't the only side monitoring his future in E20.

While speaking on Sky Sports' Transfer Talk podcast, journalist Jack Rosser shared his thoughts on Everton possibly signing the former England international.

Rosser said: "As much as he is an icon, he was not delivering [last season].
I'd still be surprised if he's still there in the Championship next season.

"He'd be a great signing for them [Everton]. I think Bowen sits slightly outside of this, but there have been some links with Soucek as well. Moyes may worry about the narrative that he's just bringing in his boys.

"He doesn't want that following him around. Bowen, there's some consideration to him, because of the level of player he is and what they need, he wouldn't fit that."

West Ham have agreed to sell Mateus Fernandes to Tottenham in a club-record sale, which will slice the need for the Hammers to offload big-money players this summer.

However, it may still all depend on what Bowen himself wants to do, as there's currently a slight issue at Hill Dickinson if he were to come to L3.

What happens to Everton's attack if Bowen signs?

Everton are expected to try and sign Jack Grealish once more this summer, whether that be permanently or on another loan deal.

Their move will be influenced by how the 30-year-old recovers from his foot injury, but if he were to re-sign, the left-wing position would be his.

Bowen is a natural right-winger, a role which is currently occupied by Everton's record breaker, Iliman Ndiaye.

There would be a slight clash as to who to play, and to even think any of those three could have a worry to start is baffling to think about.
